Their property spans approximately 4,000 hectares and features dryland, irrigated cropping, and livestock. Recently, the family have introduced Angus cattle into their enterprise. The Role Innesvale Pastoral seeks a full-time employee who will be a valued, integral team member. Working closely with the owner, you will be required to work independently at times, within a team environment, and with contractors. As the successful candidate, you will be experienced in all aspects of broad-acre cropping and livestock; capable of operating an air seeder, header, boom spray, and utilising GPS and auto-steer. You will possess good mechanical knowledge, be skilled at repairs, be able to troubleshoot and diagnose breakdowns, and be able to operate and drive a truck. Previous experience with livestock would be considered an asset. The Offer A comfortable 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom family home with large living areas and an electricity allowance provided in conjunction with a work vehicle is available to the right person. A school bus travels within 2 km of the farm gate, catering to the needs of a young family. An attractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience and skills, will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Maintaining all equipment, tools, and machinery neat and tidy, treating them respectfully. A positive attitude towards weekend and public holidays during peak seasons, such as sowing and harvest.
