About The Role The Finance Business Partner will play a crucial role in collaborating with business unit managers to enhance financial performance while ensuring sound decision-making processes. This position involves developing strong relationships, providing insightful financial analysis, and supporting various financial planning activities. In this role, you will actively engage with business units, lead budget reviews, and present performance reports that align with the Council’s strategic objectives. You will also ensure compliance with financial governance and promote efficient use of financial systems across the organisation. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate will possess a blend of financial expertise and strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, or a related discipline. CPA or CA accreditation (or nearing completion). Proven experience in financial management and analysis within complex organisations. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in financial systems and analytical tools.
