We provide an enjoyable supportive workplace where employee's get to use the latest technology in the delivery industry. We are seeking a full-time Delivery Driver (Van & Bulk) to join our team. The position is for an immediate start. Position Overview The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely and accurate delivery of parcels to business and residential customers across Dubbo and surrounding areas. Key Duties and Responsibilities Determining delivery destinations and selecting the most appropriate delivery routes Sorting parcels into run order Loading and delivering parcels to business and residentials addresses Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading Assisting with loading to ensure goods are securely arranged to prevent damage Verifying loading documentation Arranging and performing unloading operations and obtaining proof of delivery Conducting pre-start vehicle checks and maintaining vehicle cleanliness Reporting vehicle maintenance requirements Receiving payments for deliveries and arranging accounts where required Ensuring compliance with company delivery procedures and safety standards Skills and Experience Required Minimum C Class Driver Licence (Van Driver) and/or HR Licence (Bulk Driver) At least one year of relevant experience in delivery driving AQF Certificate II or III (or equivalent) is desirable; however, relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and delivery procedures Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Well presented, reasonably fit, mature, hardworking and accurate, with the ability to adhere to strict delivery principles to ensure customer and contract satisfaction Good memory recall and a desire to seek a high level of efficiency. Knowledge of DUBBO NSW is a bonus but not required as training will be provided. This position is offered on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday).
