Your new role The Acacia Ridge Early Years Centre & Kindergarten is committed to collaborative practice and values relationships built on trust, unity, honesty, and support. As part of an integrated service alongside our hub and the neighbouring Acacia Ridge State School, we strive to provide high‑quality education and care. In this leadership role, you will guide a dedicated team of educators, oversee daily operations, and ensure programs meet legislative and organisational standards while building strong connections with families, local businesses, community partners, and stakeholders. Working closely with the Area Management Team across our Browns Plains, Beaudesert, and Acacia Ridge sites, you will lead professional practice, support integrated teamwork, and strengthen community relationships to improve outcomes for every child and family. You will have experience leading a team in the Early Childhood Education sector and: Solid experience (4 years) working in kindergarten or LDC settings. Proven track record in effectively managing Kindy/LDC operations including financials, facilities, safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborative skills with the ability to work in a cross functional way with teams, peers & stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Strong team leadership abilities with experience leading, inspiring and developing a team of professional educators. A relevant qualification in Early Childhood or Education, (degree highly desirable) and current driver’s licence. Strong understanding of Education and Cares Service National Regulation/Legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and National Quality Standards (NQS) essential.
