About the Role Apex Radiology is seeking an experienced Booking Centre Supervisor to lead our patient bookings team. This full-time role combines hands-on operational duties with team leadership, ensuring smooth, patient-focused scheduling and outstanding customer service. Reporting to the Administration Services Manager , your key responsibilities include: Supervising the Booking Centre team - including training, rostering, and workflow management. Handling escalated patient and referrer enquiries with professionalism and care. Scheduling patient appointments and managing inbound calls to maintain service levels. Monitoring call volumes, wait times, and patient experience metrics. Ensuring booking accuracy, clear communication, and correct fee estimates. Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies. Leading team meetings and sharing key updates across the team. Supporting skill development and training initiatives in collaboration with the Training Supervisor. Acting as the first point of contact for Booking Centre queries and issue resolution. Liaising with technical and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery. About You You'll bring a proactive and supportive leadership style with a strong customer focus and the ability to balance team management with day-to-day operational tasks. Demonstrated experience in medical bookings, call centre, or customer service environments. Proven leadership or supervisory experience. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. A collaborative, positive approach to teamwork and service delivery.
