We're recruiting for an experienced Rail Engineer , reporting to our Manager Design Group to join our growing team based either in Newcastle or Melbourne. We are looking for game changing professionals who are leaders in their field & looking to make their mark in exchange for a diverse career among our inclusive team of technical experts. The tasks you’ll perform: Ensuring technical solutions delivered during the study and design phases are compliant with design review processes and design quality requirements. Using 12D, Bentley, or AutoCAD, to develop high-quality 3D models, layouts, and detailed drawings for track, civil works, turnouts, spurs, and loops in accordance with Lycopodium’s CAD procedures. Monitoring the progress and performance of project design Provide technical support and input to proposals, customer presentations, and other marketing/business development activities. Assist in preparing design scope, budget estimates, and project schedules for written proposals. Engage in positive working relationships with the Client’s representatives, contributing to successful project delivery. Coordinating with the multi-disciplinary engineering and drafting teams to help ensure project deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in line with quality standards. The expertise you’ll bring: 3 years post graduate experience in Civil Engineering/Design Delivery Role Proficiency in 12D, MicroStation, and/or AutoCAD drafting skills will be looked upon favourably. Proven experience in Rail, and wider civil projects. Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering. Extremely well-developed written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of engineering designs and calculations. Experience in Design and Project management.
