A small and mighty health Charity is seeking a Community Fundraising Manager to start mid-February for a 2–4-month temporary role. The role is 25 hours a week and this can be spread over 4 or 5 days. This is a stand-alone role where you will take ownership of some high-profile Sydney events, whilst stewarding their DIY mass participation donors with their own events. This role is predominantly remote working, but with the requirement to attend in person events based in Sydney. Duties and Responsibilities Support the existing network of community fundraising supporters by providing specialist advice on community fundraising events and online fundraising. Organising fundraising and awareness Events from beginning to end, including logistics, suppliers, volunteers, risk and evaluation. Work with the Marketing team to ensure community fundraisers are provided with the appropriate merchandise, social media support, brand awareness and information on upcoming fundraising opportunities. Skills and Experience Solid experience as a Community Fundraising Manager Experience organising events from beginning to end Strong knowledge of online fundraising trends, procedures and technology. Experience and demonstrated ability in building and managing long term relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM, and general website administration. Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and budget requirements. Capacity for creative, innovative and dynamic thinking.
