About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Baker to join our production team. This role involves the preparation, baking, and finishing of a wide range of bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and workplace safety. Early morning, weekend, and public holiday shifts may be required. Key Responsibilities Preparing, mixing, and baking bread and bakery products in accordance with established recipes and daily production schedules Operating and monitoring baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and provers Measuring and weighing ingredients accurately to ensure consistency and quality Monitoring baking processes and adjusting temperatures and baking times as required Ensuring all baked products meet freshness, taste, and presentation standards Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards Assisting with stock control, ingredient storage, and stock rotation Cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areas Requirements Previous experience as a baker or in a commercial bakery environment Sound knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, and food handling practices Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods Benefits Stable employment with a local, growing bakery Supportive and friendly work environment Ongoing training and skill development opportunities Staff discounts on bakery products How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their experience.
