About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated team member to join us as a Production Trades Assistant in Maryborough, QLD. This is a busy role in a dynamic and fast paced environment. As a primary function of your role, you will be required to perform tasks as planned by the Supervisor & Production Manager. You will assist with general workshop operations. At Moddex, we value work life balance and offer flexibility in this role. You can work full-time, 5 days a week, or part-time whether that’s 4 full days or shorter hours spread across 5 days. You choose what works best for you! Your days will be busy and varied, and will include: Physical labour, manual handling, moving materials on forklift and other ad-hoc tasks around the workshop. Workshop housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and safe work environment Commitment to a Zero Harm workplace that promotes an excellent teamwork attitude. Assisting the Area Production Manager with suggestions for improvement in safety, efficiency and quality and providing factory floor support where needed Reports safety issues immediately. Ensures factory has neat steel storage/stock and clear walkways. Leaves work area clean and tidy with tools back in place. Loads & unloads trucks when requested (only if inducted on the necessary equipment). Other duties as requested by management.
