Make a difference in a growing NFP that supports military veterans and their families Permanent, part time position (0.8 FTE) - job share arrangement may be considered Competitive remuneration on offer super & salary packaging benefits (up to $18,550 tax-free salary component = more take home pay) Hybrid WFH/Hawthorn office available with travel across sites required Option of car for work and personal use available About the role The Workforce Educator will support a learning culture that contributes to the delivery of high-quality care to residents/clients in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and will ensure that evidence-based best practices are maintained. This position will design and deliver tailored training programs to team members primarily working in residential aged care and community home care services, while also supporting other departments in the organisation with education as required. You will also provide support to Vasey RSL Care team members involved in onsite student placement programs and our graduate nurse program. About you To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing the very best of care to our residents/participants, as well as providing an exceptional learning experience to our workforce so that it translates into quality practice and outcomes. You will be a Registered Nurse (with current AHPRA registration) with highly developed clinical skills in the Aged Care sector and relevant experience as a clinical educator in a healthcare setting. You will also have: Demonstrated experience in training and education, including strong presentation skills and an understanding of training design Ability to logically evaluate information, identify salient issues and draw sound conclusions Responsiveness and highly developed time management skills with the ability to respond to changing situational circumstances and pressures Proficient IT skills and experience maintaining and developing an LMS (Dayforce will be highly regarded) Willingness to travel to provide in person training and current valid driver's licence Willingness to undergo a National police check Proof of rights to work in Australia We recognise the rich diversity of people across Australia.
