The Opportunity - BDA is looking for a Senior Technical Officer - Mechanical who will join the Air Combat and Electronic Attack Sustainment Program. In this role you will play a critical role in supporting the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler platforms. This role is based onsite at Amberley. As a Senior Technical Officer within BDA, you will Conduct continuing airworthiness management activities. Work as a senior member with the team, guiding and mentoring junior engineers. Provide technical Leadership in delivering minor and major capability upgrades to the various platforms from the concept stage to aircraft in service. About you To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum of 10 years' experience in the aviation industry. Technical experience in an aircraft maintenance operational environment. Demonstrated experience in technical leadership in a major project environment. Ability to collaborate and communicate aircraft technical related issues. Understanding and experience with complex Super Hornet & Growler systems will be highly regarded.
