Utilise your risk management expertise to provide support and advice to the fiskville Redress Scheme A fixed-term, full-time opportunity opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service until March 2027 VPS Grade [level]: [salary range] plus superannuation. About the business unit Redress Design and Delivery (RDD) is responsible for administering two redress schemes that acknowledge past harm, provide a range of support options for individuals who have experienced harm, and operate independently from the organisation responsible for causing the harm. It provides high-quality strategic policy advice, and is responsible for administration and delivery of frontline services. About the role The Senior Manager, Fiskville reports to, and will work collaboratively with, the Executive Lead, Redress Implementation to effectively deliver redress assessment decisions to applicants. This includes ensuring robust decision making that aligns to legislation, guidelines, and authorised delegations, and delivering a scheme that is victim-centred and trauma-informed. Some of your duties will include: Ensuring compliance with all authorisations designated to the Senior Manager position while overseeing and guiding staff to follow the same designated authorisations ensuring processes, tasks and activities align with established policies and practice Provide advice, strategic direction and quality assurance to staff undertaking assessment and case management work to ensure rigorous, consistent, and integrated practices that align with the schemes' parameters and policies. * Provide high-level advice and support on policy issues relevant to the schemes, and other policy issues to support a trauma informed approach to engaging with participants of the redress scheme. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Ability to understand and apply complex regulatory, compliance and authorisation frameworks relevant to the organisation's operations Significant leadership and staff management experience, preferably in a service delivery context. Strong conceptual skills with the ability to analyse complex policy and legal issues, interpret legislation and provide accurate and strategic advice across a range of areas relevant to the schemes.
