The Hospital This is a Level 3 facility with 70 inpatient beds (expanding under the Destination 2030 strategy) and a newly constructed Emergency Department (2020). The service provides: 24/7 Emergency Care General Medicine & Surgery Obstetrics & Maternity Paediatrics HDU & Coronary Care Palliative Care Medical Imaging & Pathology Hospital in the Home (HITH) The Role As Staff Specialist – General Medicine, you will: Provide inpatient and outpatient care Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call roster Support Exercise Stress Testing (Clinical Measurement Team) Contribute to Hospital in the Home (HITH) Provide clinical leadership and support junior medical staff Play an active role in service development and governance This is a broad, rewarding physician role with autonomy, team support, and strategic input into future service expansion. Remuneration & Benefits Total remuneration package up to $557,878 p.a.
