An innovative and developing business our client, which is a leading Australian manufacturer of electrical switchboard manufacturing facilities based in Thomastown. You will play a pivotal role in Our manufacturing division is it is experiencing continued growth, to continue to deliver excellent service to our customers we are looking for an experienced and challenge driven new team member. This exciting opportunity will start on dayshift 7am-3.06pm, Monday - Friday. We are after a highly motivated Manufacturing Administrator Assistant , to become an integral part of the team. This is a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Your Tasks Will Include: Assisting the production team to deliver projects through design, manufacture and deliver/commissioning phases to our customers. Managing production documentation including contracts, variation orders, correspondence and design documentation. Assisting with production scheduling and tracking of projects through the production phase. Manage purchase orders to ensure good are received in full on time for each project. Arranging production invoicing to customers to ensure cash flow throughout the duration of each project. Creates new project files ensuring accuracy of all information. Maintaining production and customer related data within the company's information systems. Assisting in the approval of production related expenses and supply invoices. Assisting with customer inspections of completed jobs. Organising transport for delivery of buildings upon completion of jobs. Assisting customers with responding to their calls, emails and general matters relating to the projects and liaising with members within the project team when necessary to obtain relevant and correct information. Advising the management on matters requiring attention and implement the decisions. Key Requirements: The ability to solve problems and learn new skills in an industry you may not be familiar with. Experience in a high volume administration role Initiative and excellent problem-solving abilities Effective communication skills both written and verbal High attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated and able to work autonomously Demonstrated Customer service experience Excellent time management skills Ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment Must have PRONTO business management software experience with strong computer skills.
