The Role: We are seeking Forklift Operators to join a busy almond processing facility in the agriculture and food processing industry. Based in Carwarp, VIC, this is a hands-on role within a fast-paced factory environment. You will be working as part of a supportive team, contributing to efficient processing and warehouse operations during the peak season. Positions are available across two departments: Inshell Forklift Operator - Responsible for accurately capturing pallet label information and recording it clearly. This role also involves stocking the pallet room and changing hooder film as required. Packing Room Forklift Operator - Operating fixed plant machinery to assist in the processing of almonds. This role includes manual handling and heavy lifting, as well as loading trucks. Full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will support daily production and warehouse operations to ensure smooth processing and dispatch of product. Your duties may include: Operating forklifts safely and efficiently within the facility Capturing and recording pallet label information accurately Stocking pallet rooms and changing hooder film (Inshell) Operating fixed plant machinery (Packing Room) Loading trucks and preparing stock for dispatch Assisting with manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Benefits: $33.20 per hour with penalty rates Approximately 40 hours per week, with varied hours up to 6 days per week Seasonal role (subject to season) On-the-job training provided Opportunity to gain experience in a large-scale almond processing operation Your Skills & Experience: Current Forklift Licence Reliable and flexible to work varied hours, up to 6 days per week Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures Experience loading trucks (highly regarded) Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
