Our Client is currently looking for highly skilled, experienced FIELD SERVICE Mechanic for permanent roles in the Sydney Region The successful applicants will have a minimum of 4 years post trade experience carrying out repairs, maintenance and servicing of large earth moving equipment, Forklifts, Cranes or similar. Candidates must have superior hydraulic and engine diagnostic problem solving and fault finding skills, in an environment where completing the job on time is critical. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible and willing to share technical knowledge with the wider crew. Career Advancement Opportunities : Essential Criteria: Mechanical Trade Certificate (Plant Mechanic, Diesel Fitter or equivalent); Ability to diagnose faults with Earth Moving Equipment and undertake repairs and component replacement; Structured approach and ability to work autonomously; Excellent interpersonal/teamwork and written/verbal communication skills; Dedicated commitment to Safety and Quality Assurance Ability to organise and schedule work directly with customers Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements HR Truck License Eagerness to meet customer site regulations and policies Able to work overtime and/or extra shifts as required What the client offers : Competitive hourly rate plus overtime.
