Your new role: As an Advanced Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist within QSCIS QuickStart, you will deliver specialised statewide psychology and consultancy services supporting people with spinal cord injury (SCI) across Queensland. This is a senior clinical leadership role providing proactive in-reach to non-specialist hospital settings and advanced interdisciplinary rehabilitation support through telehealth, outreach visits, education and consultation. You will work with a high degree of independence while contributing to excellence in patient care, service development, education, and research. In this role you will: Deliver advanced, evidence-based Psychology assessment, intervention and consultancy services for individuals with SCI across the lifespan. Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, allied health professionals and students. Lead the development and translation of best-practice clinical protocols, service models and innovative models of care. Drive statewide service improvement, education initiatives and research to enhance outcomes for people with SCI, their significant others and the clinicians who support them. About you: You are a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Neuropsychologist with advanced expertise in rehabilitation and complex care. You bring strong leadership capability, clinical credibility, and a passion for improving outcomes through collaboration and innovation. You will demonstrate: Advanced clinical expertise in spinal cord injury rehabilitation and complex patient care. High-level communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills across interdisciplinary teams. Experience in service improvement, protocol development, data-informed practice and/or research translation. The ability to work autonomously while contributing to statewide clinical strategy and innovation.
