What you'll do As the Principal Policy Officer, you will work collaboratively with FSIP's internal and external stakeholders in the provision of high-quality advisory and support services to Queensland Health leadership. You will lead and co-ordinate key strategic policy projects and operational activities that relate to core functions of FSIP and priorities for Queensland Health. About you We are searching for someone with: Proven success in the design and delivery of strategic policy initiatives within a complex and sensitive service delivery environment. Demonstrated record of achievement in providing accurate and effective advice to support senior stakeholders to represent the Department on sensitive operational issues and strategic policy priorities. Excellent understanding, or the ability to quickly acquire an excellent understanding, of intergovernmental and health policy frameworks. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write high quality, concise reports, briefs and correspondence that are tailored to the level of knowledge, skill and experience of the audience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and motivational skills and an ability to role model professional and expected behaviours and build strong peer relationships Why work with us?
