About the Role You will be working hands-on with vehicles across washing, decontamination, paint preparation, polishing, paint correction, and ceramic coating application for a broad range of vehicles. This is a physically demanding role requiring stamina, energy, and consistency. Some days may finish early once workflow is completed. We operate in a small team environment where every person makes a significant impact. What We’re Looking For Technical skills can be taught. Character cannot. Junior / Inexperienced Technician Pathway $1,000 Cash Sign on Bonus after first 7 days! Starting Rate: $25.00 per hour (inclusive of super) Above award rate. Full training provided. Stage 1 – Probation (6–8 weeks) Increase to $26.50/hr inc. super upon demonstrating: Reliability and punctuality Positive attitude Safe vehicle handling Correct wash/decontamination/drying processes Basic machine polishing Proper ceramic coating application Stage 2 – Independent Basic Tasks (3–4 months) Increase to $28.00/hr inc. super when able to: Work autonomously with minimal supervision Inspect own work to high standard Begin understanding paint correction Maintain low rework levels Stage 3 – Productive Team Member (6–9 months) $30–$32/hr inc. super once able to: Prep, polish, and ceramic coat independently Perform high-quality paint correction Safely use multiple polishing systems Contribute meaningfully to workflow Reduce load on senior technicians At this stage, you are no longer considered junior. Experienced Workshop Technician Pathway Entry Rate: $30.00/hr inc. super (4–6 week capability verification period) After Verification (4–8 weeks) $33–$35/hr inc. super upon demonstrating: Correct prep and masking procedures Safe, confident tool usage Clean finishing and low rework Professional conduct and team fit Productive Technician (3–4 months) $35–$37/hr inc. super if you: Carry a meaningful job load Maintain quality under volume Reduce pressure on management Support junior team members Senior-Level Contribution (6 months) $39–$41 per hour inc. super For technicians trusted with complex, high-value work.
