The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Melbourne CBD team. This role is ideal for someone with client-facing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and is eager to build a rewarding career in recruitment. You will work closely with our Managing Director, Tavis Shearer , who brings over 25 years of recruitment expertise. You’ll be given structured training, real responsibility, and the opportunity to build and grow your own recruitment desk. Key Responsibilities Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for client roles Develop and grow a portfolio of clients Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to placement Utilise digital sourcing, social media, networking, and CRM tools to identify talent Provide consistent and professional service to both candidates and clients Maintain accurate records and manage candidate pipelines Deliver feedback and aftercare throughout the recruitment process Who We Are Looking For To succeed in this role, you will be: Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven Confident in building relationships and presenting to stakeholders Organised and accountable under pressure Eager to learn and grow within a high-performing team We welcome applicants from diverse client-facing backgrounds, including sales, agency, hospitality, travel, and customer service .
