Description THE ROLE We are seeking a passionate individual to play a pivotal role in our business by overseeing the operational management of the linen and uniform room. Key responsibilities include: Managing daily operations of the linen and uniform room, including inventory control, ordering, and distribution. Ensuring the cleanliness, quality, and proper storage of all linens and uniforms. Collaborating with other departments to meet their linen and uniform requirements effectively. Working with suppliers to negotiate contracts for laundering and dry cleaning of all linen and uniforms. Developing and maintaining policies and procedures. Managing rostering, supervision, training, and development of the department’s team. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in linen and uniform management, or a related field, preferably within hospitality or events. Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and database management (preferred). A strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in high volume environments. The ability to work in a fast paced setting and adapt to changing needs. Initiative, with a proactive and solutions focused approach.
