Description We currently have an opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our team, with relevant Building / Building Services background. This position will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities. We are seeking candidates who hold, or able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance to be part of our team on the redevelopment project, covering the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and the RAAF Base Wagga. This is a site-based role for the RAAF Base Wagga area, with relocation packages being offered. What you’ll do The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below: Planning for the successful completion of all Work Packages, and/or projects, including allocation of crew/s, ordering of materials, and the engagement of any specialist services and/or contractors. Coordination and supervision of work activities of multiple crews over various work locations. Assist the PE / PM to manage site activities on all works. Liaising with the Site Supervisor and Defence client representatives, to ensure jobs are completed safely, and with minimal disruption to the network and surrounding community. Monitor and control expenditure on jobs to ensure the cost-effective completion, and profitable returns on all contracts. What you’ll bring A Bachelor of Engineering degree, or similar. Graduate Member of Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAust) Previous site engineer or graduate engineer experience in industry or related industry. Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
