About the team and the work Work for a Partner who represents insurers and employers providing advice on liability, pursuing recovery of claims costs, and defending claims and common law actions in the Personal Injury Commission (PIC), District and Supreme Courts of NSW. You will also gain some exposure to administrative law matters and advocacy experience in the Administrative Review Tribunal. You will work with self-insurers and Government agencies on statutory issues, as well as supporting litigation proceedings and develop a thorough understanding of state and federal legislation. This is a challenging role where you will advise clients on managing claims and matters and be on the way to developing solid advocacy and client liaison skills. Plaintiff and in-house experienced applicants are also encouraged to apply, we are looking for the right cultural fit, over background. Ideally experience in litigation, liability and compensation claims however not essential if alternative skills in matter management, excellent attention to detail, strong written and negotiation skills and excellent organisational ability.
