Our client is a locally owned Australian supplier of bulk materials handling equipment. The business was originally established in 2014 to supply conveyor products / parts to Original Equipment Manufacturers, re-sellers and service companies. Today, their conveyors and rubber component supply skills are complemented by mechanical and rubber trades to service and support conveyor systems owners and operators. They have an opportunity for an experienced Trade Assistant to join their team located at Acacia Ridge! Those that are Mechanically Experienced are highly encouraged to apply. $36/hr Busy workshop Forklift License required 7am - 3.00pm Monday to Friday Must be available for overtime if required Ongoing with a view to permanent transition The Role: sanding/ grinding, general cleaning, transport & general TA work in rubber lining Responsibilities: Cleaning, measuring, cutting, and wrapping conveyor belts Pick and packing Occasionally making pickups and drop offs of equipment to customers Assist tradespeople with a variety of tasks, including preparation and clean-up of work sites Operate a forklift to transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures Qualifications: Valid forklift license Automotive car license minimum Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety Good communication and teamwork skills If this sounds like the job opportunity you're searching for, please APPLY TODAY!
