We’re looking for a Category & Consumer Insights Manager to unlock category opportunities, bring consumer and shopper insights to life, and influence decision‑making across a dynamic FMCG snacking portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Innovation, this role plays a critical part in shaping category strategy, driving range reviews, and supporting innovation and growth initiatives with robust insights and analytics. About the Role In this highly visible role, you’ll sit at the heart of the business, partnering with Marketing, Sales, R&D, NPD and Leadership to: Lead category insights and strategy, ensuring insights are embedded in all key decisions Develop compelling category selling stories to support range reviews and innovation Identify and unlock category growth opportunities through deep consumer, shopper and customer understanding Deliver insight‑led inputs into business planning, forecasting and NPD business cases Manage scan data, dashboards and reporting to deliver clear, actionable insights Monitor competitor activity and market trends to recommend strategic actions Lead monthly category growth meetings, upskilling stakeholders and driving engagement Build strong relationships with internal teams and external research partners About You To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a blend of analytical expertise, commercial acumen and influencing capability: 5 years’ experience in Category Development or Consumer Insights within FMCG Strong experience working with major grocery retailers Proven ability to develop and deliver category growth drivers Advanced analytical capability across quantitative and qualitative data Strong command of Power BI, scan data and reporting tools Advanced experience with data providers (e.g. Quantium) Confident communicator who can translate data into compelling, actionable stories Comfortable working autonomously, managing multiple priorities and ambiguity A collaborative mindset aligned to company values and purpose Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Analytics or a related discipline preferred Kinrise’s Perks • Work with iconic products that Aussie consumers love. • Access to retail discounts through Reward Gateway. • Access to LinkedIn Learning to support your continuous learning journey. • Additional week of annual leave after 2 years of service. • 2 'You do You' days per year. • Company paid parental leave for Primary and Secondary caregivers.
