About the Role The Ministry Assistant (Outreach Focus) supports the mission and ministry of the Alice Springs Corps by helping people connect with community, faith and support in a welcoming and relational environment. Working closely with the Corps Officers, you’ll be involved across a range of Salvation Army expressions, including Homelessness Programs, Doorways, The Waterhole and Salvos Stores. This role is hands-on and people-focused. You’ll help create opportunities for individuals to explore faith, participate in small groups, receive pastoral support and engage with the wider Corps community. You’ll also contribute to Sunday worship and help strengthen partnerships across the local community.
