ABOUT THE ROLE Join this tech-friendly, modern organisation to take ownership of the Payroll function for approximately 180 staff while working closely with HR. You will run a fortnightly Payroll using Employment Hero, with a mandate to maximise what Employment Hero can do for you and for the wider business. DUTIES Managing the fortnightly end-to-end Payroll processing, including ad-hoc payments Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance across PAYG, superannuation, leave, and statutory obligations Preparing payroll-related journals, reports, and reconciliations Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll master data Providing payroll reporting and insights to management Supporting HR system administration and payroll-related processes using Employment Hero Assisting with industry-specific compliance processes (including ABF / ICS requirements), with training provided Constant review of procedures and system configuration, to ensure optimisation SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Proven experience managing end-to-end Australian payroll in a standalone capacity Strong understanding of payroll compliance obligations Experience with Employment Hero is highly regarded Exposure to multi-entity or multi-state payroll environments Prior history of process improvement or system enhancement BENEFITS You'll be empowered to run the Payroll function your way.
