We're looking for a Front End Developer to join a high‑performing DevOps team working on a global digital platform built on cutting‑edge modern technology. You'll be joining a collaborative environment with talented engineers, a strong culture, and plenty of room to grow. About the Role You'll be responsible for turning UX wireframes, designs, and requirements into beautifully structured, responsive front end applications. You'll work across a mixture of Angular, React, Bootstrap, jQuery, TypeScript, and modern toolsets-while partnering with backend developers who build in Java 17, Spring Boot, microservices, Docker, and AWS. This role includes a mix of development, UX refinement, code reviews, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement. You'll also contribute to both public‑facing websites and internal business applications used across the organisation. What You'll Be Do ing Building clean, semantic HTML5/CSS3 and modern JavaScript/TypeScript components Developing responsive UX across desktop, tablet, and mobile Working with frameworks like Angular, React, Bootstrap, RxJS, jQuery Integrating the front end with backend systems using REST APIs, AJAX, and templating Testing your work thoroughly and participating in code reviews Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance customer and staff digital experiences Contributing ideas to improve architecture, design, and performance Growing your skills through ongoing professional development and mentoring others where appropriate Important Note for Full‑Stack Developers If you consider yourself a full‑stack developer, the backend stack matters. This organisation uses Java and Spring Boot exclusively on the backend. If your experience is primarily in C#, Node.js, this is not the role for you.
