About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and creative Lifestyle Coordinator to join our residential aged care home located in Mooroolbark, Victoria. This permanent full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives on building connections, bringing joy to others, and designing engaging programs that enrich residents’ lives. You will take ownership of the lifestyle and engagement program for our home, creating meaningful, innovative, and inclusive activities that support residents’ physical, emotional, social, and cognitive wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: Develop, plan, and deliver a diverse and engaging lifestyle program that promotes physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing. Collaborate with residents, families, and care staff to create person-centred programs aligned with individual interests, abilities, and cultural backgrounds. Continuously evaluate and enhance lifestyle activities, using feedback and participation levels to drive improvement. Work closely with clinical and care teams to ensure lifestyle programs align with resident care plans. Coordinate the scheduling, resourcing, and delivery of events and activities, ensuring programs are well-organised and meaningful. Foster a positive, inclusive, and vibrant community environment that encourages resident participation and connection. Maintain accurate documentation, including activity plans, attendance records, and reports. Coordinate and support the Volunteer Program, strengthening resident engagement and community involvement . Provide guidance and support to the Lifestyle Assistant, promoting teamwork and consistency. Key Requirements: Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent) – essential. NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain). Level II First Aid and CPR certification. Minimum 12 months’ experience in a Lifestyle / Leisure role within aged care or a similar environment. Strong understanding of older adults’ needs, preferences, and abilities. Creative, enthusiastic, and organised approach to program delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging manner.
