With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD (still within the bounds of Myki and ride-sharing), Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be.   Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Administration Assistant to join the Hospital Admission Risk Program.  Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourneâs rapidly growing outer north.  Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.  About the Role: This role requires an experienced Full-time Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to both the clinical service team and the leadership team. The role is instrumental in providing quality care for clients and the role is key to quality, safety, and efficiency and consumer experience.  This role is responsible for: Program based administration including reception, telephonist, computer and office and function organisation duties  Data support â including entry, monitoring and data integrity  Team work and communication  Quality improvement  To be successful in this role you will have: Experience and good working knowledge of software packages and database administration including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, MS teams and SharePoint. Proven ability to work in a team environment and provide responsive administration support to multiple persons or departments Demonstrated experience in efficiently handling high volume telephone calls from vulnerable people Well-developed organsational skills and attention to detail  Next Steps . . .  If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
