Position Overview Position Title : Restaurant Manager Location : Vishal’s Indian East Gosford (26 Adelaide Street, East Gosford NSW 2250) Salary: AUD $77,000 – $85,000 superannuation Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent (38 hours per week) Reports To : Owner / Director About the Role Vishal’s Indian East Gosford is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and help grow our reputation as the go-to destination for authentic Indian cuisine on the Central Coast. As Restaurant Manager, you will be the face of the restaurant, responsible for ensuring excellent service delivery, smooth daily operations, and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities Working with chefs and kitchen staff to help plan menu offerings and seasonal items. Coordinating special events, promotions, and in-store activities. Managing purchasing of supplies and ensuring pricing aligns with budgets. Overseeing stock control processes and maintaining accurate financial/operational records. Ensuring the restaurant meets health, hygiene, and safety requirements always. Engaging with customers to monitor satisfaction and resolve issues promptly. Recruiting, training, supervising, and supporting both front-of-house and kitchen staff. Handling reservations, welcoming guests, and assisting with service during busy periods when required. Monitoring staff performance and supporting achievement of sales and cost targets. Managing rostering and scheduling for all café/restaurant staff. Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required To be considered for this role, applicants must have: Minimum 1-year full-time experience in a management role within a restaurant. Hospitality qualifications are desirable but not essential. Strong leadership and communication abilities. Skill in supervising staff, managing workflows, and maintaining service quality. Good understanding of food safety requirements and hospitality operations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
