Its purpose is to build and leverage strategic stakeholder relationships to drive engagement and protect and enhance ASIC's reputation. Group Communications leads the Strategic Communications and Internal Communications teams and takes a whole-of-ASIC approach. The role As a Communications Adviser you will: Lead strategic communications for ASIC's Fintech and regulatory teams, providing expert advice and delivering clear, impactful messaging on digital asset and tokenised custody reforms. Design and implement communication plans aligned to ASIC's strategic priorities, ensuring content is targeted, high quality and supports organisational objectives. Develop authoritative content - including media materials, speeches, and thought leadership pieces - that translate complex information into clear, accessible insights. Collaborate across ASIC and with external stakeholders, including industry associations, technical experts and the Moneysmart team, to drive consistent, effective consumer and industry communications. Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve communications, using data, feedback and analysis to refine strategies, strengthen engagement and maximise impact. About you You bring relevant tertiary qualifications in communications or a related field, along with substantial experience developing and delivering targeted communications in corporate, government, or professional services environments. You have demonstrated experience in financial services and an understanding of ASIC's regulatory environment. Specialist interest in and experience in, or an understanding of digital finance and distributed ledger technologies will be highly valued. You are an accomplished communicator, with high-level written and verbal skills and experience creating content across a range of channels. You also have strong experience planning, implementing, and measuring communications campaigns across multiple platforms. You are a confident and credible adviser, with strong relationship management skills and experience influencing and advising executives, senior teams, and technical experts. You engage effectively in complex and challenging discussions, ask thoughtful and probing questions, and apply sound judgement. Highly organised and adaptable, you can manage multiple priorities, work well under pressure, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
