Role Overview We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic (Light Vehicle) to maintain and repair our fleet of company light vehicles, utes, and support vehicles. The successful applicant will be responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, compliance checks, and ensuring all vehicles remain roadworthy and safe for operation. Key Responsibilities • Perform routine servicing and scheduled maintenance • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools • Repair brakes, suspension, steering, engines, cooling and fuel systems • Conduct roadworthy inspections and compliance checks • Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime • Maintain accurate service history records and workshop documentation • Ensure all work complies with Australian Safety and Road Standards • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment • Assist with breakdown response if required Skills & Experience Required • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (Mandatory) • Minimum 2 years workshop experience preferred • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills • Ability to interpret technical manuals and service bulletins • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Manual preferred) • Strong understanding of WHS requirements • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
