We're hiring for a Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance to thrive within a fast-paced team that oversees risk, compliance, internal audit and insurance activities across the business. As a Senior Manager,, you will lead the uplift of enterprise risk and compliance frameworks, provide second-line challenge, support business resiliency, and produce clear, executive-ready reporting for the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) and the Board. This position is suited to someone who thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and is able to influence and engage credibly with executives, regulators, auditors and external stakeholders. Job Requirements Risk Expert - Senior Management experience with with 8 years of experience with a strong Risk focus. Proven second-line 'test & challenge' capability with sound judgement and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Foundational understanding of compliance obligations and regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions, with the ability to translate requirements into practical, business-focused actions. Experience in data centres and data centre constructions or other complex, asset-heavy or critical infrastructure environments (energy, utilities or similar) Experience supporting corporate insurance procurement, including D&O, Property, Cyber, and Construction-related insurance. Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new subject matter quickly, adapt to changing priorities and work across diverse workstreams. Comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, building effective working relationships and communicating clearly at different levels. Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate and well-structured reports and documentation. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently while maintaining quality and accuracy. Collaborative, flexible and supportive team player who contributes positively within a small, high-trust team environment. Job Responsibilities Leading role: Risk Lead the design, maintenance and uplift of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, policies, standards and risk taxonomy. Review, facilitate and challenge risk identification, assessment and control effectiveness across business units; drive remediation. Partner with the business to embed risk practices. Develop and maintain risk registers, KRIs/KPIs and dashboards; deliver thematic insights and trend analysis. Test and challenge controls designed to mitigate key risks. Support business resiliency activities (e.g., BCP/DR alignment) in collaboration with Operations and Technology. Prepare executive-ready risk reporting, including high-quality ARC and Board packs with clear narratives and recommendations. Supporting roles: Insurance and Compliance Assist with the management of corporate insurance programs, including procurement and renewals for insurance such as D&O, Property, Cyber and Construction etc. cover, data collection, claims support, and liaison with brokers and internal stakeholders. Establish repeatable processes and documentation to improve insurance program transparency and efficiency. Support compliance activities, including monitoring changes to regulatory obligations, assisting with compliance frameworks, and helping coordinate responses to compliance requirements. Support compliance with design improvements and targeted assurance over key obligations. Support incident and breach management implementation and reporting across the group Engage with a broad range of internal stakeholders to gather information, provide guidance and support delivery of risk and compliance initiatives. Track actions, milestones and deadlines across multiple workstreams to support timely delivery of team objectives. Maintain accurate records, registers and documentation in line with internal standards and governance requirements. Support continuous improvement of risk, compliance, audit and insurance processes and tools. Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as required to support the broader objectives of the Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit and Insurance function.
