This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of Australian automotive standards and workshop practices. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to: Perform scheduled servicing and logbook maintenance to manufacturer standards. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using dealership diagnostic tools. Inspect and repair braking, steering, suspension, and driveline systems. Repair and replace engine, cooling, and transmission-related components as required. Conduct road tests to confirm issues and verify repairs are completed correctly. Ensure all work meets dealership quality, safety, and manufacturer procedures. Complete job cards, service reports, and repair documentation accurately. Communicate repair findings and additional work required with service advisors and supervisors. Skills and Experience Required : AQF Certificate III qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification or relevant industry experience Minimum of 1 year experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs Strong understanding of automotive mechanical and electrical systems Ability to interpret vehicle service manuals, technical diagrams, and diagnostic data Knowledge of Australian automotive standards and workplace health and safety regulations High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Valid driver's licence and relevant safety certifications What We Offer : Competitive salary package between AUD $75,000 - AUD $85,000 per annum superannuation Supportive and professional team environment Apply now through our online application form.
