Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for a Speech Therapist at Creative Devotional Counselling Services, located in Springwood, QLD. The Speech Therapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to clients experiencing communication and swallowing disorders. Day-to-day tasks include developing personalized treatment plans, liaising with clients and their families, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic client care. Qualifications Professional expertise in speech therapy, including experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Empathy, patience, and the ability to create a supportive environment for clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Organizational skills for maintaining accurate case notes and reports according to professional and legal requirements. Relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology or a related field, with current certification or eligibility to practice as a Speech Therapist (e.g., SPA accreditation). Previous experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals with diverse communication needs is highly regarded. Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment and contribute to multidisciplinary care plans.
