The Role: We are seeking a motivated Trade Assistant to join our workshop team. In this role, you will support tradespeople with manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, and preparation of longwall equipment and components. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in mining equipment fabrication. Key Responsibilities: Assist qualified tradespeople with fabrication, assembly, and maintenance tasks Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for workshop jobs Support the team in maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times Learn and develop skills in a practical, hands-on environment What We’re Looking For: Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Team player with a positive attitude Previous workshop or trade experience is an advantage but not essential What We Offer: Full-time position with a compressed work week (4 day week) Competitive base rate plus penalties Opportunities for training and career progression within the business Social events, including monthly team BBQs How to Apply: Click "Apply Now" and submit your resume.
