What you’ll be doing In this varied and fast‑paced role, you’ll be at the heart of our commercial operations, coordinating both internal and external conferences and events and bringing them to life. Your responsibilities will include, however will not be limited to the below: Lead end‑to‑end planning and delivery of virtual, in‑person and hybrid events across Australia and New Zealand, including conferences, meetings, trade shows and internal events, ensuring alignment to business objectives, budgets, and IDEXX guidelines. Manage stakeholder engagement and vendor relationships , partnering closely with internal teams, travel partners and third‑party suppliers to scope requirements, source venues, negotiate contracts, coordinate logistics, and deliver seamless attendee experiences. Oversee event logistics and on‑site execution , including site inspections, transportation, accommodation, catering, AV, entertainment and team‑building activities, acting as the primary point of contact to resolve issues and ensure smooth event delivery. Project manage multiple events simultaneously , monitoring timelines, budgets and scope changes, providing clear communication to stakeholders, and producing post‑event reporting on costs, savings and opportunities for improvement. Create supporting event content and materials , including social media assets, event handbooks and documentation, while continuously developing event management capabilities through industry best‑practice knowledge and hands‑on experience (including travel as required). About you You’re a highly organised, detail‑oriented coordinator who thrives in a dynamic environment. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: A minimum of five years’ experience planning and executing conferences and events A positive can-do attitude and ability to work well in a team Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Experience using Canva and Smartsheet is desirable A proactive, can‑do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment If you’re passionate about delivering seamless events, enjoy working with diverse stakeholders and take pride in supporting high‑performing teams, we’d love to hear from you.
