Windows / Linux System Administrator - Azure Arc 6-Month Contract | Financial Services | Sydney (Hybrid) We're working with a large financial services institution to engage a contract Systems Administrator for a hybrid infrastructure project centred around Windows, Linux, and Azure Arc. This role is project delivery focused and will suit someone with a strong Windows background who is comfortable working across Linux and hybrid Azure-connected environments. You'll be involved in the design and implementation of Azure Arc to connect and manage on-prem infrastructure through Azure. What you'll be doing: Delivering project work across Windows Server environments Supporting Linux systems (RHEL / Ubuntu) within a hybrid estate Implementing and configuring Azure Arc for hybrid connectivity and governance Integrating on-prem servers with Azure for monitoring, policy, and security Working closely with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams What we're looking for: Strong hands-on Windows systems engineering experience Working Linux systems administration experience Proven experience implementing Azure Arc in hybrid or on-prem environments Background delivering infrastructure projects in enterprise environments Comfortable working in regulated settings such as financial services Nice to have: Exposure to Azure governance, monitoring, or security tooling PowerShell and/or Bash scripting experience Prior financial services experience Contract details: 6-month contract with potential extension Sydney-based with hybrid working Competitive day rate Immediate or near-term start
