HR Driver / Vacuum Truck Operator - Townsville Achieve Group is currently seeking an HR Driver / Vacuum Truck Operator to assist our client with day-to-day waste management operations. This position suits a practical, hands-on operator comfortable working with heavy vehicles, specialised equipment, and a range of site conditions. The right candidate will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient industrial and environmental services while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Operate HR-class automatic vehicles, including Cappellotto vacuum trucks, and associated industrial equipment Carry out industrial cleaning, vacuum loading, and waste removal activities Complete drain cleaning, stormwater maintenance, and non-destructive digging (NDD) tasks Accurately complete daily logbooks, job documentation, and compliance paperwork Perform routine vehicle and equipment checks, reporting defects as required Follow all WHS and environmental procedures, ensuring correct PPE is worn at all times Work collaboratively with team members and maintain professional client relationships Complete tasks as directed, meeting project timelines and site requirements Requirements: Current HR licence (automatic), essential Experience with logbooks and compliance paperwork Previous experience in waste, industrial services, or a similar operational role Valid White Card HVAC Certification Strong understanding of WHS and environmental compliance Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessments, including drug and alcohol screening Flexible availability, with willingness to work occasional night shifts and weekends What’s on Offer: Weekly pay Ongoing work with a growing organisation Varied and hands-on role across multiple sites Supportive team environment with a strong safety culture Apply To apply, head to our website www.achievegroup.com.au, email your resume to roxanne@achievegroup.com.au or call 1300 129 732 for a confidential conversation.
