This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistency, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards and delights our guests. Key Responsibilities Creating and updating menus while working out ingredient needs, staff requirements, and food costs, and managing stock orders to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Tasting and checking dishes during cooking and plating to make sure every meal meets quality and presentation standards. Working closely with managers, dietitians, kitchen teams, and front-of-house staff to plan food production and ensure smooth service. Showing cooking techniques and guiding staff on proper preparation methods and kitchen best practices. Preparing and cooking meals according to recipes, service demands, and customer preferences. Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation rules to keep the kitchen clean, safe, and compliant. Helping hire, train, and support junior kitchen staff to build a strong and efficient team. Storing and freezing food properly to maintain freshness and reduce waste. Minimum requirements Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in a similar hospitality setting. Diploma in Hospitality Management (or equivalent qualification).
