This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, multi-skilled Exhibitions Floor Manager to play a pivotal role at the heart of world-class events within the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC). As the Exhibition Floor Manager, you will be the driving force behind the smooth and successful move-in and move-out of exhibitions , ensuring every event is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standard. You in the role In this highly visible role, you will act as the central point of contact for clients, exhibitors, contractors, and internal ACC teams. You will lead all floor operations with confidence, balancing operational excellence with exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving in real time, and takes pride in creating seamless experiences for stakeholders. You’ll be joining a small, dynamic, and collaborative team , where initiative, accountability, and a solutions-focused mindset are valued. No two days will be the same - and that’s exactly how you like it. About You You’re an experienced exhibition or event professional who brings calm, confidence, and authority to complex environments. You will bring: Proven experience in exhibition floor management, events operations, or large-scale venue operations Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail Sound knowledge of WHS practices in live event environments The ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt quickly to change Availability & Flexibility Exhibitions don’t run on a 9–5 schedule and neither does this role. This is a casual position, so you will need to be flexible and available for early starts, late night finishes, and variable hours, particularly during move-in and move-out periods. This flexibility is essential to the success of the role and the events we deliver.
