A fantastic opportunity has opened for an ambitious, energetic part time Goods Inwards member to join our team at our Distribution store in Kunda Park. The role Timely receipt, unpacking and checking of goods on delivery Checking of goods received against purchase orders for correct supply of products processing delivery dockets and input of data into the computer system Processing Click & Collect orders Organising the return of damaged or faulty goods to Suppliers Conduct stock control cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. Label stock orders appropriately for delivery and storage. Follow up outstanding purchase orders with suppliers. Create and manage supplier credit claims where required. Maintain contact and follow up with suppliers to resolve issues or discrepancies. Support customer communication where required, providing updates on stock availability and delivery timelines. Ideally you will have or be Computer literate Excellent attention to detail Forklift license whilst not essential would be preferred Well-developed written and verbal skills Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams. Competent in using stock management and inventory systems. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
