We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our Maintenance team, based out of our regional Wagga Wagga site in New South Wales, Australia! Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead the maintenance team and execute management system methodologies to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Plan, lead and organise maintenance operations, including preventative and planned maintenance scheduling, ensuring project managers and planned jobs are completed on time. Ensure maintenance activities, equipment and utilities meet KraftHeinz Food Safety, EHS, Management System GMP requirements; embed safe working practices and sustainability. Maintain accurate maintenance payroll and employee records; support related HR administration Manage team performance, coaching, development, resourcing, absenteeism, employee relations. Control engineering budget: set budgets, monitor and report monthly spend, measure costs versus plan, and communicate financial status weekly. Drive continuous improvement and a problem‑solving culture, plus deliver operational KPIs. Collaborate with production and site leadership to embed maintenance/production collaboration. Support and/or manage capital projects and vertical start‑ups: assist project engineers with justification, implementation, investment monitoring, and reporting. Support Continuous Improvement to identify opportunities, apply problem‑solving techniques, and develop tactical plans to meet weekly, monthly and yearly KPIs. About you: Engineering degree or equivalent (required) Strong and proven experience in practical manufacturing/FMCG experience and in a supervisory role. Demonstrated leadership, change-management and people-management skills, with experience managing direct reports. Strong commitment to safety and food quality; proven ability to maintain compliance while meeting maintenance and production targets. Proven CAPEX and maintenance budget management capability, with understanding of P&L, balance sheets and cost‑centre controls. Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data, with effective communication and delegation skills. Practical experience in Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement and problem‑solving methodologies. Project management and technical/SOP writing experience (desirable).
