Position Title: Graduate Registered Nurse Classification: YP2 Salary range per hour: $41.36 superannuation generous salary packaging options Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 64 hours per fortnight Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 -2028 Role description The Graduate Nurse Program aims to support newly registered nurses in consolidating their clinical knowledge and skills to the level expected of a beginning practitioner. Guided by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC) competencies—including professional practice, critical thinking and analysis, care provision and coordination, and collaborative and therapeutic practice—graduates will develop confidence and competence across diverse clinical settings in a safe, supported environment. Provide safe, evidence‑based nursing care using consolidated clinical knowledge• Adhere to the NMBA Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics and Registered Nurse Standards for Practice• Communicate effectively and collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team• Demonstrate analytical skills in assessing and evaluating health information• Apply best available evidence, practice standards and clinical guidelines to improve care• Prioritise workloads using sound clinical reasoning based on consumer needs and acuity• Participate in ongoing professional development and reflective practice• Conduct comprehensive and systematic nursing assessments• Engage in workplace health and safety processes and quality improvement initiatives• Actively participate in performance development and review activities throughout the program Please note - Sponsorship for Visa applicants is not available for this position About you Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) in Victoria• Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team Please refer to the relevant attached position description and address the key selection criteria on your cover letter when applying.
