About us: The North Rockhampton Nursing Centre (NRNC) is a 120-bed facility dedicated to providing high-quality residential aged care and interim care. Our facility is divided into specialized wings, including dementia-specific care, all focused on a person-centered approach. We work together to ensure our residents receive compassionate, high-standard care in a supportive, community-focused environment. About the role: Deliver direct advanced nursing care for residents with complex disabilities in line with Aged Care Quality Standards. Lead nursing practice reviews and promote evidence-based practices to improve resident outcomes. Facilitate unit orientation and mentoring to support the growth of nurses from novice to advanced practitioners. Role model effective communication and problem-solving within the multidisciplinary team. Coordinate clinical care programs and ensure the effective use of unit resources. About you: You hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a current practicing certificate. You have a proven ability to assess, plan, and review clinical care for residents with complex needs. You demonstrate a person-centered approach to residential aged care and quality improvement. You are a mentor who can support and develop clinical staff to achieve high-performance standards. You possess well-developed interpersonal skills that support effective delegation and team collaboration. You are committed to your own professional development and maintaining clinical competencies.
