Your new role: As an Enrolled Nurse within the Alternatives to Hospitalisation program, you'll play a key role in providing direct, compassionate care for up to five consumers in a residential setting. Working both independently and collaboratively, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care that supports recovery and wellbeing. In this role, you will: Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife Conduct physical observations, Mental State Examinations (MSEs) and risk evaluations Coordinate medication management, including scripts, supplies, and collection from local pharmacies Support daily routines such as sleep hygiene, meals, and activities of daily living Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Contribute to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and seek clinical or operational support as needed This is a rewarding position for an Enrolled Nurse who values autonomy, teamwork, and making a tangible impact in mental health care. About us: Alternatives to Hospitalisation (ATH) is a residential 24hr mental health service providing an alternative to hospitalisation for consumers within the Addictions and Mental Health Service (AMHS), it is a community-based home like environment, focused on catering to the individual recovery needs of consumers, liaising with community Mental Health Teams, NDIS providers, General practitioners, and other community-based support services. ATH supports consumers transition to independents utilising Evidence-based practice guided by the Recovery model.
