With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD (still within the bounds of Myki and ride-sharing), Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be.   Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Instrument Technician Grade 3 or Grade 4 to join the Central Sterilisation Services Department (CSSD).   Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourneâs rapidly growing outer north.  Services are provided through our six main campuses:  Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.  About the Role: This role requires experienced, goal achiever and team player who has flexibility to work across Northern Health campuses.  This role is responsible for ensuring that CSSD provides services to their consumers continuously and without delay by following the standard.  To be successful in this role you will have: Experience of 1-2 years as Grade 3 in a Tertiary Hospital or equivalent Experience of 3-4 years as Grade 4 in a Tertiary Hospital or equivalent Good working knowledge of AS5369:2023 & NSQHS Standards Proven ability to prioritise work load and needs of consumers in a busy Central Sterilisation Services Department Competence in reprocessing Endoscopes Knowledge on loan sets processes and Theatre List Set-ups  Next Steps If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
