EL1 Assistant Director/ APS6 Complex Procurement Officers - Must be NV1 - Federal Government Department Two roles available 1 x APS6 and 1 x EL1 Assistant Director Government Department role, long term contracts Must be NV1 with over 4 years of experience ACM Healthcare is working on behalf of a Federal Government Department to source two experienced procurement officers at EL1 and APS6 level. This is initially a 12 month contract working out of the Canberra office. EL1 candidates must have over 5 years experience and APS6 4 years' experience. Duties: Undertake Complex Procurements from the start to the end of procurement lifecycle that are compliant with Public Governance, Performance, Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), internal policy and processes Plan, manage and deliver end-to-end procurement activities including market research, preparation of documentation, evaluations, negotiations and contract awards. Strong knowledge in administering tender documentation through AusTender. Monitoring contracts, managing extension or renewal of contracts and contract close-out. Problem-solving contract-related issues. Develop, draft and implement communications strategies to support structural, technical and business changes impacting Diplomatic Security Division (DSD) in relation to contract management. Undertaking procurement reporting requirements. Undertaking risk assessment, mitigation and the management of risks in procurement. Mandatory Requirements: Working knowledge of Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR). Demonstrated minimum of 4/5 years of experience in undertaking end-to-end Complex Government procurement activities in accordance with policies and procedures. Applicants are requested to provide details of any Complex procurement they have undertaken, including an outline of their role in the procurement. Qualification in Procurement and/or Contract Management, preferably in government procurement. Experience using SAP (desirable) As this role is within a Federal Government department it is a required to be an Australian Citizen at time of commencement. This is a security designated position, and you will be required to hold a current Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance prior to commencement.
