Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a Program Engagement Officer to support the delivery of a major transport infrastructure investment program. This role sits within a Communications and Stakeholder Management team and plays a key role in ensuring effective community engagement, stakeholder liaison and high-quality communication across the program. Key responsibilities include: Researching and analysing information to prepare high-quality written content including briefing notes, ministerial and executive correspondence. Developing community engagement plans, key messaging and targeted communication strategies for infrastructure projects. Preparing communication materials such as media responses, draft media releases, newsletters, flyers and display materials. Responding to media enquiries and supporting issues and reputation management. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key external stakeholders and the broader community. Supporting program managers and project teams across the district. Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with departmental standards and records management requirements. About you: Strong written communication skills with experience preparing ministerial, executive or government correspondence. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and community consultation. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships to deliver customer-focused outcomes. Understanding of issues management and reputation management principles. Ability to work within legislation, policy and governance frameworks with a high level of integrity. Experience working within government or large infrastructure environments will be highly regarded.
